European law has abolished the use of Hydroquinone in cosmetic products as it has been found to be a carcinogen i.e. causes cancer. Even though there is no strict guideline here in South Africa as to the content of glues and resins we insist that all our products are safe to use. Our Nail Varnishes are all Toluene and Formaldehyde free. Since the range is sold all over the world it has to pass rigorous quality and health standards. United Beauty Products is now at the forefront of the industry as our nail varnishes do not contain Toluene or Formaldehyde, ingredients which are routinely used in the manufacturing of other nail varnishes. Both Toluene and Formaldehyde have been listed by EPA( Environmental Protection Agency) as toxic and harmful to humans.
